There are a lot of products available that could help you on your fitness journey. And a lot is a gross understatement.
THERE ARE A TON OF PRODUCTS THAT COULD HELP YOU!
But what do you really NEED?
To clear up a little bit of the confusion as to what you need, I will be reviewing products here that you can use to aid in reaching your fitness goals.
It will be a work in progress. New reviews will be added from time to time (hopefully on a regular basis).
Some of these products will be high-end, high-dollar. Some will be low-priced alternatives.
Some of these products are “Nice-To-Have”. Others will give you ideas of the minimums to get started.
High-End versus Low-Priced
Here’s a perfect example of high-end versus a low-priced alternative. In my kitchen I have two blenders for making smoothies.
One is the Blendtec Professional 800. I absolutely LOVE this blender. It does literally everything. You can make smoothies, batters, whole juice, soup, etc. But, it retails for $1100! I’ve seen it on sale for as low as $700. Either way, it’s a lot of money for a blender. Yes, I use this blender for more than just smoothies, and you could, too. But you don’t need this if you just want to make smoothies.
The other blender is the Nutri-Ninja Auto-iQ blender. I love this blender, too. It isn’t quite as versatile as the Blendtec, and I can’t make as big a batch, but you can regularly find this item for under $100. And it’s incredibly convenient! The blender canister is actually a to-go cup. You put your ingredients in the container, screw on the blender cap, blend your smoothie, pull the blender cap, and put on the to-go top.
You can read my review of the Nutri-Ninja Auto-iQ Blender here. I will be adding an in-depth review of the Blendtec soon.
Nice-To-Have And The Minimum To Start
As to comparing a nice-to-have product with a minimum to get started, a great example would be a power rack (nice to have if you intend to really get going with lifting weights) with a much simpler weight bench for about 1/4 the price (which is perfectly fine to get started with lifting weights).
Even more to the point of minimums, you can start your resistance training with nothing more than resistance bands! And you can regularly find a decent set for as little as $20!
